The United States Hockey League announced Tuesday it will return to Pittsburgh in September for the annual DICK’S Sporting Goods Fall Classic.
For a fourth consecutive year, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township will host the USHL games from Sept. 26 to 29.
All 16 USHL teams will play two regular-season games.
“The Fall Classic has evolved to become a priority scouting event that provides all 31 NHL clubs an initial look at some of the top talent available for the NHL Draft playing at one site over four days of entertaining and competitive games,” Dan Marr, director of NHL Central Scouting, said in a release.
