The Pittsburgh Steelers are eager to get the bitter taste of defeat out of their mouths after Sunday’s 30-7 loss to the 49ers. But, they will have to wait an extra day than a normal game week before they again take the field.

The Steelers will host the rival Cleveland Browns on “Monday Night Football” for a Week 2 matchup at 8:15 p.m. Monday at Acrisure Stadium.

Cleveland opened its season with a 24-3 win over the AFC favorite Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. QB Deshaun Watson threw for 154 yards and a 3-yard touchdown to Harrison Bryant and also ran for a score, while running back Nick Chubb ran for 106 yards. Dustin Hopkins also booted three field goals.

The Steelers are expected to be a bit shorthanded, as veteran defensive lineman Cameron Heyward will reportedly have surgery to repair a groin injury and could miss an extended period of time. Wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) also will reportedly miss a few weeks, according to ESPN, and offensive lineman Chuks Okorafor (concussion) also left the game with injuries Sunday.

Tomlin is discussing the strengths of the opponent, the injury situation and the initial depth chart.
