Hempfield graduate Bridget Guy is an All-American in the pole vault for a third time.

The redshirt senior at Virginia finished fourth in the event last week at the NCAA Division I track and field championships in Austin, Texas. Her top vault was 14 feet, 7-1/4 inches, a season best.

Guy is a two-time ACC champion. She tied for fourth at the NCAA outdoor finals in 2018 and was fifth at this year’s indoor championships.

Johns Hopkins: Sophomore Mikayla Bisignani (Greensburg Central Catholic) finished 13th in the discus with a throw of 134 feet, 10 inches at the NCAA Division III championships in Geneva, Ohio.

Men’s track & field

Navy: Freshman Hayden Fox (Hempfield) took 20th place in the javelin in his NCAA championships debut with a throw of 211 feet, 11 inches.
