Seton Hill will take the lacrosse field this season with five All-Americans in the lineup.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Warrior/New Balance Division II Preseason All-American team features a handful of honorable mention selections from Seton Hills. They are grad student Logan Maloni at attack, senior Zack Estabrooks at midfield, senior Andrew Clark and junior Christian Krauch on defense and senior Kevin Mo at goalkeeper.

Maloni was an All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference first-team pick in 2019, and Krauch was the GMAC Freshman of the Year two years ago.

The Griffins are ranked No. 5 in the USILA Division II Coaches Preseason Poll. Seton Hill was 6-0 in 2020 before the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the season.

This season is set to begin Feb. 27 at Chestnut Hill.

Miller has competed in the high jump, long jump, triple jump and pentathlon this season. She ranks fourth in the NAIA in the high jump at 1.65 meters, a mark that broke her school record. Miller set another program mark in the long jump (5.01 meters) and she won the triple jump (10.83 meters) at the IWU Invitational.

She is 11th nationally in the pentathlon with 3,123 points — from the fall season.

Baseball

Seton Hill: After a strong start to a 2020 season that was cut woefully short by the covid pandemic, Seton Hill has high hopes for this year.

The Griffins, who were 9-4 and set to start PSAC play when they had to shut down, open this season as the preseason favorite in the PSAC West — alongside Mercyhurst — in the coaches poll.

The teams tied with four first-place votes apiece. The rest of the top five are California, Gannon and Slippery Rock.

Seton Hill is scheduled to begin the season March 6 with a home doubleheader against Shippensburg.
