Wife of Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins faces charges after domestic altercation in Las Vegas
The wife of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and former first-round draft pick Dwayne Haskins has been charged with domestic battery after an altercation July 3 in Las Vegas.
Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins is accused of knocking out of one Haskins’ teeth at The Cosmopolitan when she punched him during a disagreement, TV station KLAS reported Wednesday night after obtaining a copy of the police report.
Haskins, 24, was treated for facial injuries at a local medical facility, and part of his tooth was recovered at the hotel.
Gondrezick-Haskins, 23, posted bail and faces an Aug. 3 hearing.
Haskins, who is entering his first season with the Steelers after his release by Washington in December, and Gondrezick-Haskins were in Las Vegas attending a wedding, according to the police report.
Haskins recently posted pictures on his Instagram account that showed him celebrating his engagement with Gondrezick-Haskins. However, Gondrezick-Haskins told police that the couple was married in March and was renewing their vows while in Las Vegas.
Haskins will compete for the No. 3 spot at quarterback in training camp. His competition for the job is veteran Joshua Dobbs.
Gondrezick-Haskins played basketball at Michigan State.
