GAMES OF THE WEEK

• Penn-Trafford 28, Gateway 7

The star of the night was Penn-Trafford senior safety Caleb Lisbon, who picked off three passes and scored a touchdown on a 12-yard run to extend the lead to 21-7. Cole Defillippo’s 31-yard return iced the game moments later.

• Derry 35, Freeport 27

Justin Huss was a workhorse for Derry on Friday in the team’s Big East opener against Freeport.

The senior running back logged 33 carries and totaled 261 yards and four touchdowns as the Trojans held off a fourth-quarter Yellowjackets rally for a 35-27 victory.

• Central Catholic 10, Seneca Valley 7

Central Catholic hadn’t reached the end zone all game until quarterback Dom Pieto scored the winning touchdown with 28 seconds left in a 10-7 victory Friday night at Seneca Valley.
