The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is holding its first limited-release lottery of 2019.

Good things come to those who wait — or so says the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

Connoisseurs of bourbon have until 11 p.m. Saturday to bid on various rare, high-demand products in the first limited-release lottery of 2019.

A total of 871 bottles are available, including $800-a-bottle Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey.

Separate lotteries will be conducted for each limited-release product, and lottery participants may opt into one, several or all lotteries. Entrants may win the chance to buy only one bottle from each lottery.

This is the fourth year the state has held the lottery as a way to sell limited-edition bottles to individuals and licensees. Drawings will be held the week of Jan. 21 and will be witnessed by an independent third party.

Lotteries will be held, in the following order, to award the right to purchase individual bottles as follows:

• Michter’s Bourbon 20 Year Old — 10 bottles (eight for individual consumers, two for licensees). The retail price for each 750 mL bottle is $799.99.

• Russell’s Reserve Bourbon 2002 Barrel Proof — 24 bottles (18 for individual consumers, 6 for licensees). The retail price for each 750 mL bottle is $249.99.

• Four Roses 130th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon 2018 Barrel Strength — 120 bottles (90 for individual consumers, 30 for licensees). The retail price for each 750 mL bottle is $139.99.

• Parker’s Heritage Collection Bourbon Finished in Orange Curaçao Barrels 12th Edition — 177 bottles (133 for individual consumers, 44 for licensees). The retail price for each 750 mL bottle is $89.99.

• Weller Bourbon 12 Year Old — 240 bottles (180 for individual consumers, 60 for licensees). The retail price for each 750 mL bottle is $29.99.

• Weller C.Y.P.B. (Craft Your Perfect Bourbon) — 300 bottles (225 for individual consumers, 75 for licensees). The retail price for each 750 mL bottle is $39.99.

Individual consumers and licensees interested in entering one or more lotteries must be registered customers at FineWineAndGoodSpirits.com, with billing information on file.

In light of attempts by previous lottery winners to re-sell products, the lottery terms and conditions have been updated to remind residents that the sale of alcoholic beverages without a license is prohibited under Pennsylvania law.
