Dr. Lauren Sciullo, a native of Vandergrift, graduated recently from the Excela Health Latrobe Hospital Family Medicine Residency program and is now part of Excela Square Latrobe Family Medicine in Latrobe.

A graduate of Kiski Area High School, Allegheny Township, she received a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Grove City College and a master’s degree in infectious disease and microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed medical training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation recently awarded this year’s Andrew D. Bagby Family Medicine Scholarships. Each recipient participated in a month-long program this summer through the Excela Health Latrobe Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.

Kelsie Sirak, 22, a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va., is enrolled at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Joseph Collier, 28, graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is a student at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Kanan Patel, 25, earned a degree in health promotion from the University of Georgia and is a student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus.
