Allegheny County officials identified two of the three people killed in a Saturday night shooting in Pittsburgh.

City police continue to investigate the incident, which took place shortly after 9 p.m. along Beltzhoover Avenue near Edgemont Street.

Laffayette Gordon, 21, and Joseph Hendricks, 17, both of Pittsburgh, were fatally shot by at least one assailant and pronounced dead at the scene, according to an Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office report Monday.

A third man died Sunday morning, according to public safety spokesman Chris Togneri.

That person has not yet been identified. A fourth person was taken to the hospital Saturday night. Officials said he is 17.

Officers believe the incident originated in the street and then moved into a house. It is not believed to be part of a Halloween party or gathering of any kind.

Togneri reported the shooters in the incident are among the victims listed.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting can call Pittsburgh’s Violent Crime and Mobile Crime unit at 412-323-7161.
