A look at each of the homicides that have occurred in Allegheny County in 2026:

Jan. 13: John Jackson

John Jackson, 31, was found fatally shot with a gunshot wound to the head in Wilkinsburg. Jason “Flame” Moran, 41, was arrested March 2 and has been charged with homicide.

Jan. 14: Kruz Bailey-Baker

Kruz Bailey-Baker, 7, was shot in Pittsburgh’s California-Kirkbride neighborhood. Police said early information indicates Bailey-Baker and a 9-year-old boy were handling a firearm when it fired.

Jan. 20: Timmy Moran

Timmy Moran, 62, was fatally stabbed by his roommate in their Friendship home, according to Pittsburgh police. Eric Henderson, 44, has been arrested and faces criminal homicide charges.

Feb. 7: Lester Bridges

Lester Bridges, 83, of Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar was fatally stabbed by after breaking into a house, police said. WTAE reported that Bridges was in the early stages of dementia and had been reported missing.

Feb. 8: Charlee Martin

Charlee Martin, 26, of Greenfield was fatally shot, and her brother, Aaaron Martin, has been charged with criminal homicide.

Feb. 23: Ni’Dreyah Marshall

Ni’Dreyah Marshall, 17, of Wilkins Township was fatally shot while people were smoking marijuana and drinking tequila, according to police. Rayohna Hexstall, 20, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

March 2: Vaughan Leroy

The body of Vaughan Leroy was found under an 18-wheeler in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood. His brother-in-law, Steven Thomas, 52, of Statesboro, Ga., has been charged with criminal homicide.

March 11: Devin Goodson

Devin Goodson, 3, of Penn Hills died at UPMC Children’s Hospital, with court papers saying he had 11 fractures. His mother, Lagomau Malu, 26, has been charged with aggravated assault, child endangerment and more.

March 18: Dashawn Awkward

Dashawn Jamaal Awkward, 25, of Wilkinsburg was found fatally shot in an alley in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.

March 20: Mya Parker

Mya Parker, 20, died at Allegheny General Hospital after being found in a McKees Rocks apartment building with a gunshot wound to the head. Jayden Knight, 19, of McKees Rocks is facing a criminal homicide charge.

March 29: Amaree Dawson

Amaree K. Dawson, 23, of Bellevue died at UPMC Mercy Hospital after being found shot in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood.

April 10: Sarah Darji

Sarah Darji, 2, of Pleasant Hills died at UPMC Children’s Hospital three days after being brought in. The county medical examiner’s office said she died from ligature compression of the neck, a type of strangulation.

April 13: Charles Pullie

Charles A. Pullie, 38, was fatally stabbed in North Braddock around 11:15 p.m. April 12 and died at UPMC Presbyterian hospital. Carl Harrison, 57, of Wilkinsburg has been charged with criminal homicide.

April 13: Christopher Chapman

Christopher Chapman, 38, died of complications of multiple gunshot wounds from an Aug. 21, 2019, incident that left him paralyzed. Judith White of the North Side had been sentenced to 8 to 16 years in the shooting.

April 18: Quinn Venay

Quinn Venay, 26, died after being shot along with two other women near the Club Elegance nightclub and lounge in Braddock.

April 18: Lorenzo Davis

Lorenzo Davis, 38, was found shot in Pittsburgh’s Bedford Dwellings and died at a local hospital a short time later.

April 21: Neill Yackovich

Neill Mark Yackovich, 47, died after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. Nykia Pearl Ann Edwards, 21, of Clairton has been charged with criminal homicide.

April 24: Alex Colvin Jr.

Alex Colvin Jr., 38, of Glen Hazel died in the ER of UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after being stabbed in his neighborhood.

April 26: Robert Neal

Robert Neal was fatally shot in an Duquesne home. Diane Hopkins, 51, has been charged with criminal homicide.
