A Duquesne man turned himself in at a Downtown Pittsburgh court Wednesday morning after authorities said he shot someone in his hometown last month.
Allegheny County Police charged Bradley C. Middlebrook, 33, with attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault and a firearms charge, court records show.
No date has been set yet for his preliminary hearing.
Attorney Michael Worgul, who represents Middlebrook, was not immediately available for comment.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. June 25 at a Duquesne Place Drive apartment building, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case. At the scene, police found a person who had been shot in the cheek, with the bullet exiting through their neck.
The victim, who police did not identify, was taken to UPMC Mercy hospital and remained in the intensive care unit when the complaint was filed.
Police said Middlebrook shot the victim after they were involved in an argument with Middlebrook’s partner.
