Police incident in Elizabeth Township resolved

A police incident early Wednesday in Elizabeth Township had residents of Narragansett Drive on lockdown but officers have given the all clear.

Police posted on social media that the area is safe following an earlier alert that urged residents who live in the area to stay inside.

The original post was issued at about 3:45 a.m. and the follow-up came at about 7 a.m.
