Historic figures from the region and McKeesport — such as George Washington, President John F. Kennedy and the 1935 Miss America — will be portrayed by area actors in the Renzie Ramble that will be conducted from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Renziehausen Park.

The tour will guide walkers through the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center, the Garden Club’s Arboretum and Rose Garden, Sulphur Springs, McKeesport Fire Department Station No. 2 and the Lions Bandshell at the park. The historic figures are portrayed by actors in period costume who are involved with the McKeesport Little Theater. They will provide visitors with little vignettes about their activities in McKeesport and why they are well-known, said Andrea Cartwright, a heritage center board member.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for members of the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center and $6 for children age 12 and younger.

McKeesport’s history center and the McKeesport Little Theater are sponsoring the event. For more information, contact the McKeesport history center at 412-678-1832.
