One man is dead and a woman was detained in connection with a fatal shooting in Duquesne.

Allegheny County Police were dispatched shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday for an unknown trouble inside a home along the 100 block of South Sixth Street.

Police said they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head. A woman was detained at the scene.

No further information about the victim or detainee was immediately released.

The investigation is ongoing.
