A Clairton man died in a vehicle crash in Duquesne early Friday.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man who died as 30-year-old Ralpheal Franz Greene.

Greene was pronounced dead at about 3:50 a.m., the medical examiner’s initial report says. The official cause and manner of death had not yet been released as of Friday night.

Emergency dispatchers received a report of a crash on North Second Street in Duquesne around 3:30 a.m., an Allegheny County 911 shift commander said. The shift commander confirmed the incident involved medics attempting to treat a victim with serious injuries.

Few other details were available about the crash or what caused it.

Duquesne police are investigating. Duquesne’s police chief could not be reached for comment late Friday.
