Just before 12:30 a.m., police received reports of a shooting in North Braddock.

The incident reportedly took place at the 400 block of Seddon Avenue. Soon after, police were informed of two people who were shot inside a vehicle near Penn Plaza in Turtle Creek.

When Turtle Creek Police arrived on scene, they found a vacant vehicle with blood inside. Two men with gunshot wounds to the back arrived at an area hospital not longer after, police said.

Police said preliminary information indicated the victims had been shot in North Braddock before driving to Turtle Creek, where they were taken to the hospital by a family member of one of the victims.

Allegheny County detectives are investigating the situation.

Penn Hills homeowner shot during attempted burglary

A Penn Hills resident was shot after interrupting a potential home invasion on Tuesday evening.

According to TribLive news partner WTAE, police said the homeowner was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

A neighbor to the Lincoln Avenue Extension home told WTAE she heard screaming around 8 p.m. before seeing an individual running wearing a ski mask, dressed in all back.

Police said they don’t have any information on a suspect, according to WTAE.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Penn Hills Police.
