Two of Murrysville’s board and commissions will have fracking issues back on the agenda in the coming weeks, beginning Tuesday night.

The Murrysville Planning Commission will host a 7 p.m. public workshop on the Titan well pad application, proposed by Canonsburg driller Huntley & Huntley.

The Titan well pad is proposed for a 71-acre parcel off of Bollinger Road, although work would only take place on nine acres of the property, according to the land development application filed in October.

For more, including the full land-development and conditional use-applications, see Murrysville.com.

In addition to the well pad workshop, the citizen group Murrysville Watch Committee, which recently incorporated as a nonprofit, will continue its challenge of Murrysville’s fracking ordinance later this month.

The Murrysville Zoning Hearing Board will continue hearing the committee’s validity challenge of the fracking ordinance at 7 p.m. Jan. 24.

Both meetings will be held in the council chambers of the Murrysville municipal building at 4100 Sardis Road.
