A McKeesport woman is facing charges after police said she stabbed her sister in the head with a pointed keychain during an argument.

McKeesport police wrote in court papers that, at 7:36 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 2800 block of Cleveland Street for reports of a woman stabbed in the head with a dagger.

A woman with multiple puncture wounds to her head was on scene, police said. She told police that her sister, Cheyenne Callahan, had stabbed her.

Police then spoke with Callahan, 25, who told them that she and her sister had gotten into an argument at their home. Callahan told police she then grabbed a pointed keychain and struck her sister in the head with it multiple times, the report said.

Callahan was taken into custody. The sister was driven to a hospital by McKeesport EMS.

Callahan is facing charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and possessing instruments of crime.
