A woman was shot in the head Thursday morning in Stowe, according to police.
A 911 call around 8:16 a.m. led police to an alley behind Broadway Avenue, where they found a woman who’d been shot in the head, according to Allegheny County police.
The woman, who authorities did not identify, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
The county police homicide unit is investigating, and anyone with information is asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-255-8477.
