Letter to the editor: Administration lacks integrity, competence

Has anyone noticed that everything President Trump says or does is coincidental to some other unrelated occurrence? Such as the market volatility. If one supports a fool, does that make the supporter a fool as well?

The people running this government for the most part don’t seem to have the character or integrity that the positions require. As each day passes the president and most of Congress put the United States in a more perilous position. It seems that not one of these, including members of the Cabinet, have the skills or experience in the delicate matters of diplomacy.

With this incompetence the problems that were created become more unsolvable. I thought it ironic that Jonah Goldberg’s essay “Some MAGA loyalists have turned on Trump. Why the rest haven’t” (May 7, TribLive) was the perfect rebuttal to the writer of the letter “Trump ridding the world of Iranian nuclear threat” (May 7, TribLive) on the same day. It’s worth a look back.
