This year, Westmoreland County residents finally have a choice for Pennsylvania House of Representative in District 57. Frankly, the right-wing platform of fewer regulations, a stagnant minimum wage, an absence of affordable health care and constant attacks on free and fair elections is stale and out of touch.

Democratic candidate Rob Francis brings a fresh perspective to the issues facing county residents. Francis will hold town hall events to address our neighbors struggling to pay for food, housing, utilities and health insurance. Additionally, while the Westmoreland County sheriff pursued an illegal deal to work with ICE, Francis was launching his campaign to keep our communities safe.

This November, we need someone in Harrisburg who will bring the issues of Westmoreland County to the legislative body in Harrisburg. If the Democrats can maintain their control of the state House, we can address major issues and expand prosperity for our community. Ask yourself, is your life better now? In his passionate crusade for change, Rob Francis will fight for all to make District 57 a more equitable and compassionate place to call home.
