Letter to the editor: Government should prohibit dangerous medications
Your newspaper reported Teva is selling blood-pressure drugs in America that contain carcinogens (“Blood pressure medication recalled over carcinogen,” Nov. 1); that is to say that they cause cancer.
It is not the first time our U.S. Food and Drug Administration has caught Teva’s medical products subjecting our citizens to adverse health consequences. Why does our government allow Teva to provide drugs to Americans? They are unsafe. The company is headquartered in Israel, the country that commits genocide against people. It is not an American company.
Mr. Editor, please uncover all the harms Teva has caused the American people and how much profit they have made from Americans. Many of us take drugs daily, and we deserve to know if they come from Teva.
