Stephon Tuitt of the Pittsburgh Steelers reacts after a defensive stop during the second half in the game against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field last season. Tuitt was fined for a late hit to Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson last week.

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt was fined $21,056 in connection to a roughing the passer penalty he was flagged for during the first quarter of last week’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Tuitt shoved Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in the back after Jackson had released a pass and taken one step out of bounds.

Jackson collided with a female photographer as part of the sequence.

The fine amount is set as part of the collectively bargained schedule for a first-time offender of roughing the passer. It is the same amount the Ravens’ Earl Thomas was docked for his hit to Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph that left Rudolph concussed and out of this Sunday’s game.
