The wait is over.

Le’Veon Bell is ready to report as a New York Jet.

After skipping voluntary organized team activities, the former Steelers running back is set to practice in uniform.

The Jets start their mandatory minicamp on Tuesday and Bell will be there.

Bell seems excited and posted this video in advance of media day with him wearing green and white.

All eyes in New York will be on Bell and his relationship with head coach Adam Gase. It’s been widely reported that Gase was not on board with his team spending $52 million to sign the former All-Pro.

That decision was apparently part of the reason general manager Mike Maccagnan was fired last month.

Bell stayed away from the Steelers throughout training camp and the preseason in 2017. Then he didn’t play at all last year.

Bell tried to calm the waters with fans about his decision to avoid organized team activities, claiming that he had a “formula.” And Gase insisted he wasn’t put off because Bell was staying away from the team facility until this week.

“Le’Veon Bell is a great player,” Gase said. “He is a good person. He’s been in constant contact with me. I enjoyed my interaction with him when he was here, when he came in on his visit for his physical, when we signed him, when he was here for the beginning of phase one. He texts me all the time. All the stuff you get on Instagram, I get it first. That’s how I know what he’s doing.”

Now we’ll see how long the happy talk lasts.
