As professional sports leagues make more deals with streaming services, it can sometimes be clear as mud where to watch a sports telecast.

This year’s men’s March Madness games are spread over four networks: CBS and Turner Networks TNT, TBS and truTV.

Games start with the First Four on Tuesday and Wednesday (6 p.m. both days, truTV) and then continue through to the Final Four in Indianapolis on April 4 and 6, airing on TBS.

For those who have cut the cord, televised games that air on CBS will also stream on Paramount+; games on the linear Turner Networks will stream on HBO Max. All games will stream on the March Madness Live app.

Women’s tournament games will be available on ESPN networks.

Roku launched the NCAA March Madness Zone, a branded destination featured on the Roku Home Screen created in partnership with TNT Sports and CBS Sports, a streamlined way to follow every live game.

‘Summer of ‘94’

Dick’s Sporting Good’s Cookie Jar & A Dream Studios debuted the documentary “Summer of ’94,” about the 1994 U.S. Men’s National Team’s underdog soccer story at SXSW, this past weekend in anticipation of the FIFA World Cup in the U.S. later this year.

“Summer of ‘94” airs on Fox on May 23.

‘Odd Squad’ returns

Pittsburgh-based Fred Rogers Productions’ “Odd Squad: UK” returns for a 12-episode second season at 6:30 a.m. April 6 on WQED-TV. The first six episodes roll out in April with the other six debuting later this year.

Agent Orli, Agent Ozzie meet new recruits Agent Omni and Agent Osric to investigate odd occurrences in a show designed to help children ages 5-8 build math, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

“Odd Squad UK” is a co-production between Sinking Ship Entertainment and BBC Studios Kids Family Productions in association with CBBC, PBS KIDS and TVOkids. Fred Rogers Productions distributes the series in the U.S. and Sinking Ship takes worldwide rights.

New QVC host from W. Pa.

Tori Mistick, who grew up in Point Breeze, will be on-air as a new QVC host noon-1 p.m. March 17, alongside Terri Conn.

Mistick is the daughter of TribLive columnist Joseph Sabino Mistick.

Revived/canceled

An animated second season of cult classic sci-fi series “Firefly” is in development with original cast reprising their roles in stories set between the 2002 first season and the 2005 feature film “Serenity.”

NBC decided to close its first-run syndication business and, with it, canceled “Access Hollywood,” “Karamo” and “The Steve Wilkos Show.”

Hulu passed on its proposed “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reboot after filming a pilot last year.

Channel surfing

NBC’s “Brilliant Minds,” yanked from the prime-time schedule earlier this year due to low ratings, will return and air its final six episodes at 8 p.m. Wednesday, beginning May 27. The show stars Green Tree native Zachary Quinto. … Just as Disney is slowly folding Hulu into Disney+, BET+ will shut down as an independent service and see its programming folded into Paramount+.
