The author of the letter “Feds should stop helping blue cities” (May 20, TribLive)has come so close to the point that he’s missed it.

Cities, which are mostly blue historically for a litany of reasons the author chooses to ignore, in large states, specifically sanctuary cities like New York and San Francisco, don’t need or want ICE in them.

If MAGAs in Unity, Pa., are happy having their Mexican restaurants destroyed, watching their neighbors abducted by unmasked “agents” and living under threat of untrained imbeciles wielding firearms, that’s their choice. Enforce it in your own community and then stay out of ours. We don’t want you, and we don’t need your racism, sexism and homophobia in laws that impact our economy.
