It is said that President Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. Let’s look at some facts.
The Biden administration refused to enforce immigration laws, letting in millions of people who illegally crossed the border. Even when individuals with criminal backgrounds and/or on terrorist watch lists were captured, some of them were released and distributed throughout the country.
Former Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and other cabinet members continually lied, stating that the border was secure.
The Supreme Court ruled that forgiving student loans was illegal. President Joe Biden attempted to circumvent the ruling.
During his Democratic administration, the FBI targeted Catholics and investigated them as potential terrorists.
While Biden continued to show diminished capacity, the Democrats lied and said he was at the top of his game. When it became apparent Biden was incapable of continuing for a second term, they ignored the democratic nominating process and simply named Vice President Kamala Harris as their candidate.
A cornerstone of our democracy is compromising on issues and legislation. The Democrats refuse to work with the Trump administration and challenge just about every proposal. The Democratic mantra is to “resist,” regardless of any value/benefit to a proposal.
I contend the real threat to democracy is the Democrats.
