We recently attended an event at The Palace Theatre on a Sunday afternoon and parked at the Robert A. Bell Parking Garage, lower level. Exiting the parking garage was a nightmare. It took us one hour to depart! The reason is that each person has to pay at the machine as you leave and the machines broke down several times.

Someone finally came to assist, but she was rude and said people don’t know how to use the machine and they don’t need an attendant. Not sure where she came from but someone who got stuck at the exit went to locate help and came back with her. She let a few people through without them paying, which sped up the process but then stopped and the slow exit began again.

I don’t mind paying for parking but the process needs to be improved or I will not attend any other Palace Theatre events. Either The Palace Theatre or the city of Greensburg or both need to do something to improve the process or more people will stop attending. One hour to depart a garage is unacceptable.
