Letter to the editor: Mail-in voting problems
I am opposed to the mail-in vote movement. It fails the smell test. Follow the money to see who is paying for it. It does not provide a signed receipt. You know you sent the mail-in vote, but you do not know if it got to where it will be counted.
Historically, mail-in votes have been lost or deemed late, especially among active duty military. To massively increase the volume of mail-in votes could lead to deliberate discrepancies.
To add to the Democratic manipulations: Allegheny County is reducing live poll centers to one per district. Now people may go to their regular site to find it is shut down.
I thought many states purchased new voting machines that provide a paper trail. They should be used.
