Letter to the editor: Trump's chaos has us bewildered

Tribune-Review

President Trump has refined his latest method of organized chaos — distractions that keep the public scratching their heads, as there are many and they vary in subject.

Just to name a few: make Canada the 51st state, gain control of Greenland, “export” the worst of the worst of our country’s prisoners to countries like El Salvador, dissolve NPR and PBS, greatly reduce the federal worker population, give Elon Musk unlimited access to the workings of the government, take control of the Kennedy Center, play back-and-forth numbers games with tariffs, firing those who speak out against him, excluding the Associated Press from news briefings for not referring to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, dissolve the Department of Education, etc., etc., etc.

Every day, Trump provides more surprises. He has a method to his madness.

Where are we headed as a nation? Division between the political parties and voters is intense. Town halls held by senators and representatives include unruly audiences, pepper spraying and arrests.

We are a confused and bewildered nation due to organized chaos, with Trump at the helm.
