I have written several letters to the editor over the past few years regarding Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline during his presidency and the damage that it has caused our nation. When his handlers had exhausted his usefulness and could no longer hide his obvious mental decline after the disastrous presidential debate performance, they kicked him to the curb.
They then attempted to rebrand Kamala Harris as a moderate to no avail. The 2024 national election showed that the American people saw through their deceit and punished them at the ballot box. We now see past staffers and media personalities cashing in by writing books detailing their observations of his decline while in office.
Why are we hearing this now? Why did those people close to Biden, his family and Cabinet members and those in the media not only stay silent about his mental decline but actively cover it up?
The big question, in my opinion, is who was actually running the government, and who was operating the autopen? We deserve answers, accountability and safeguards so this can never occur again. The 25th Amendment was put in place to protect the nation against incapacitated presidents but will only work if you have honest, principled Cabinet members. Biden and his Cabinet failed the nation.
