I would remind the writer of the letter “Fetterman must resign” (March 15, TribLive) that Sen. John Fetterman was elected to represent all Pennsylvanians, not just the far left wing of the Democratic Party.
As a lifelong registered Republican for all 45 years I have been of voting age, I find Fetterman’s views refreshing. He is one of the few Democrats in Washington who still has any common sense. I, along with a lot of other Republicans I know, will be switching our party registration to Democrat in 2028 to vote for Fetterman in the primary because I’m sure some left-wing Democrat will challenge him.
We need more voices of reason in D.C. like Fetterman, not fewer.
