Elon Musk invested approximately $250 million in Donald Trump’s campaign, and now it seems he is the de facto U.S. president. Who needs free and fair elections if money buys you a position that you can’t aspire to because you don’t meet the qualifications?

It appears Musk is calling the shots and leading Trump around on a short leash while Trump signs all these unconstitutional executive orders. Meanwhile, I think Musk and his hacks are stealing the Treasury blind and dismantling Social Security and Medicare, self-funded programs American taxpayers and employers paid into for decades and that are separate from the federal budget, though the Feds want these funds to give tax breaks for the uber wealthy while egg prices soar.

Who voted for Musk for president? He is not in a real position and is not doing a real job, has not been vetted by any of our intelligence agencies, and was not confirmed by either the House or the Senate. If this was a Democratic administration, the Republicans probably would be setting up guillotines on the mall (they already set up gallows when they didn’t get their way.)

I believe we have already lost our democracy to a South African racist and an old guy. God help us, but I guess money talks.
