A tractor trailer caught fire on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on March 15, 2019.

One lane of the Pennsylvania Turnpike remains closed after an early-morning tractor-trailer fire.

Traffic restrictions are in place along the westbound lanes, between the Cranberry and Beaver Valley exits.

The truck driver’s condition was not clear. The truck was hauling tobacco products.

The fire happened in North Sewickley Township, around mile marker 17.1, just prior to the Ellwood City exit.
