A fire Tuesday night at an auto repair shop Route 30 in North Huntingdon closed both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the busy highway, police said.

Route 30 was closed between Route 48 and the Ardara Road intersection in the western end of the township. It reopened shortly after 9 p.m., according to a Westmoreland County 911 supervisor.

The fire at the Dent Wizard at 15071 Lincoln Highway, was reported at about 7 p.m., according to the Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety.

More than a half-dozen companies responded to the call, which was a car fire inside the building, according to Hartford Heights Assistant Fire Chief Mark Gibas.

No one was injured, Gibas said.
