Steelers’ JuJu Smith-Schuster downgraded; James Conner, Jaylen Samuels practice fully
JuJu Smith-Schuster was downgraded Thursday to a limited practice participant on the Pittsburgh Steelers official injury report.
A day after practicing fully for the first time since suffering a knee injury during a Nov. 14 game at the Cleveland Browns, Smith-Schuster’s status for Sunday’s AFC showdown with the Buffalo Bills became cloudier.
Running backs James Conner and Jaylen Samuels, though, practiced fully Thursday. Conner has missed five of the past six games because of a shoulder injury, and Samuels did not practice Wednesday because of a groin injury.

The only other player on the practice report because of injury was tight end Vance McDonald, who remains in concussion protocol. McDonald was a limited practice participant Thursday after not practicing Wednesday.
Receiver Johnny Holton did not practice because of illness, and veteran guard Ramon Foster was given the day off.
